After outbreak of World War Two, according to problems exposed in
battles, the German Army requested to develop one type of tank to assist the
infantry assaulting. Code vk 18.01 is the original background of Pz.Kfw I
Ausf.F. This type is the last
modification of Pz.Kpfw. I with huge difference when comparing with original
type. There were totally 30 ever constructed and most of them belong to
improved later type.
